Comments: Moonlight is one of those doujinshi that remind me why Hide and Seek is my #1 ZoroxNami doujinshi circle. The story has to do with Zoro and Nami traveling together. Zoro comes across a mother and child being harassed by thugs. He kills the bad guys, but it's too late for the child who is already dead. This reminds him of Kuina (and I'm assuming how futile his actions are) but to his surprise the mother thanks him anyway. Nami is also there to be his support.

The stories are coupled with a short novel series I obviously can't read (though I have it on good authority that it's quite good).

Comments: Mmmm, a totally gorgeous Hide and Seek collection containing "Love or Nothing," "Love and Solitude," "The Brilliant Flower," and "I Love You." Since "Love or Nothing" and "Love and Solitude" are both copybons and hard to find outside of this volume, this is an excellent way to collect them. It's a very Nami-centric collection of stories, but of course Zoro gets to be her sexy and loving support.

It's only two pages long. Anyway, after that is a text story by Tamo. The book finishes with the last part of the story by Damedashidan where Sanji and Zoro talk about Nami.

At the very least it's a Zoro and Nami live-in-apartments-next-door-to-each-other-and-Zoro-wears-a-shirt-that-reads-APESTA; alternate universe story. And it's good.

Comments: You can really tell that Damedashidan was getting ready to retire from drawing One Piece doujinshi in this volume. ;___; Pray is an interesting doujinshi in that it contains three stories drawn throughout Damedashidan's career. It's kind of nice to see the change in art style and improvement in skill by reading them together. The main story involves Nami getting upset at Sanji and Zoro and is continued in Pray to Love. The second story is about Nami's birthday. And finally the last story is a short parody of Pirates of the Caribbean. Not a lot of substance to this one, but you need to get it because it's the set up for Pray to Love.

Comments: As far as I know, this is the last doujinshi of theirs released before they retired from drawing One Piece doujinshi and it's quite possibly the best Damedashidan story I own. It really ends their series of books on a high note. In the previous story "Pray," Nami was really mad at Sanji and Zoro for some reason and had a big fight with Zoro. This takes place immediately afterwards. Something happens that makes both Zoro and Nami really come to terms with exactly how important she is to him.

Comments: The art style is a little weird with those super-pointy chins, but it's a very nice book and the pacing and story move along quite nicely. Roko Arashiba decides to tackle the story arc from Little Garden to the Drum Kingdom. So of course it deals with Nami getting sick. Is Zoro actually worried? Nami has a dream that young Zoro blocks her path to keep her from crossing over. ;)

Comments: It looks like there are three doujinshika, but I can recognize Sae/Sight's artwork. To be perfectly honest, the art of the other two artists is not exactly my favorite but I'm really rather fond of Sae's art style. Her big eyes look better on Nami than Zoro, but the art still looks pretty and the stories are cute. This doujinshi (as the cover description "Costume Play" tells you) is basically just the doujinshika making Zoro and Nami cosplay in different outfits so there's not much of a story. That said, Zoro in glasses and the yakuza outfits are pretty hot. :)

Comments:Yeah, so this was one of my first doujinshi and I bought it for the cover. How can you say no to Little Red Riding Hood Nami and Big Bad Wolf Zoro? Simple. You can't. The first part of the doujinshi consist of some gags with Zoro and Nami. The last story is actually a serious Robin x Nami and takes place when Zoro, Nami, and Robin are trekking through the jungle together in the Skypeia arc.

Comments: This makes up the last of my first trio of One Piece doujinshi. I could tell it wasn't going to be the most amazing art ever, but the cover is a really pretty picture of Nami (sensing a trend here, are we?), which was followed by a really pretty interior shot of Nojiko. It's pretty much a gag doujinshi with a couple of ZoroxNami stories, a Sanji story, a Zoro and Luffy story, and one serious story about Makino and Luffy talking about Shanks. I still like it a lot.

Comments: The story begins with Nami having sex with a guy for money. She's working for Arlong at this point. Afterwards she leaves and comes across Zoro who is bounty-hunting. It just so happens that the bounty he's looking for is the guy she was just with. She leads Zoro to him and after he's captured, Zoro and Nami end up having sex. It's not as crude as it sounds as Nami is working through a lot of moral conflicts here.

Comments: I enjoyed this anthology much, MUCH more than One Night Dream 2. For starters there were a lot more circles participating, and only one(?) text story. The premise seems to be alternate universe versions of Zoro and Nami (thus, the "another story"). You know, ninja!Zoro and Nami, highschoolers!Zoro and Nami, etc.. I was hoping the Damedashidan story would be the continuing tales of Video Store Clerk Zoro & Customer Nami (Damedashidan used to have this comic on their website) but it turned out it was a story about thief!Nami and ordinary guy!Zoro. Which is fine too. ^__^ But I REALLY had to get it because the ever illusive Hide and Seek also have a (tiny) story!
